In partnership with Germantown Municipal School District, Zellner delivered a transformative expansion of Riverdale Elementary School. Designed to eliminate the need for portable classrooms and enhance learning environments, the addition included a new gymnasium, fine arts wing, and outdoor classrooms. Designed to eliminate the need for portable classrooms and elevate the student experience, the addition features glass-walled corridors that flood common areas with natural light, flexible classroom layouts that support dynamic learning, and sustainable design elements such as bioswales and energy-efficient systems. By reimagining both traffic flow and campus functionality, the project creates a seamless, student-centered experience that reflects Germantown’s commitment to innovation and community identity.
