Zellner Construction delivered a transformative expansion for Grandview Heights School, highlighted by a new 20,010-square-foot freestanding gymnasium and targeted upgrades to the existing campus. The gym was designed as a multi-purpose facility, featuring a wood sports floor, athletic equipment, and a performance stage to accommodate school events, assemblies, and community gatherings. Built with a durable combination of CMU construction, steel roof joists, and metal roof decking, the gym balances functionality with long-term resilience. Exterior finishes of brick veneer and metal panels create a modern, cohesive look. In addition, Zellner completed selective renovations across the school, including restroom upgrades, office improvements, new lockers and cubbies, and refreshed finishes. All updates were carefully scheduled to avoid disrupting classes. Completed in 2013, the project provided Grandview Heights students and staff with upgraded learning spaces and a state-of-the-art athletic venue designed to serve the school and its surrounding community for years to come.
