Zellner Construction enhanced the Memphis Zoo’s Elephant Exhibit by creating a new aquatic feature to enrich the animals’ environment. The renovation introduced a spacious pool at the front of the exhibit, allowing elephants to swim, play, and cool off naturally. Custom, large-scale steps were constructed to ensure safe and easy access for the animals. Designed with both function and animal well-being in mind, the improvements offer visitors an engaging viewing experience while supporting the zoo’s commitment to high-quality animal care and habitat innovation.
