The Maxine A. Smith Center is a 67,300-square-foot academic facility designed to support student success and community access to higher education. The three-story building houses 30 classrooms, including state-of-the-art science labs and computer rooms, a library, student lounges, and administrative offices. Named after civil rights icon Dr. Maxine Smith, the center serves as both an educational anchor and a community resource, offering tutoring, workshops, and programs tailored to personal and professional development. Zellner helped deliver a modern, inclusive learning environment that honors its namesake’s legacy.
