Zellner Construction partnered with the City of Memphis and the University of Memphis School of Law to enhance public access along the Mississippi River bluff. Phase II of this civic upgrade included extensive site demolition, earthwork, and new hardscape elements such as asphalt paving, concrete curbs, and decorative pavers. A prefabricated pedestrian bridge with concrete piers and abutments now links the law school directly to what is today Fourth Bluff Park, complemented by metal handrails, site lighting, furnishings, irrigation, and lush landscaping. Former service areas were reimagined as inviting terraces and greenspaces offering panoramic river views and improved pedestrian flow. The result is a seamless blend of urban infrastructure and natural beauty that enhances the downtown riverfront experience and fosters a stronger connection between civic spaces and the community.
